just us girls trend week #496

For a sweet friend who picked cherries and then shared them with me!
The stamped strip of big tickets was the perfect way to add a bold sentiment that coordinated with the patterned paper, along with a bit of washi tape.  The cherries, with a hint of sparkle, are the finishing touch.

just add ink challenge #465

I had so much fun creating this birthday card for my granddaughter - who is currently obsessed with all things flamingo (and pink)!!!

fusion - ombre

I chose another preprinted card base from papertrey ink to create a soft, feminine ombre background in shades of corally pink.  I was amazed that all this card needed was a bit of black & white twine - the effect was sweet and simple!

another card I put together with bits and pieces left over from other projects (I don’t know why I have such a difficult time just throwing them away when I clean up, but here they are!)

addicted to stamps challenge 176

a clean & simple summer card

farmer’s market inspired:
One of my stamping goals this summer is to incorporate the unused supplies that have been sitting on my table for quite awhile - I liked the pattern and shades of green of this preprinted background from papertrey ink to highlight my colorful veggies (the “enjoy” frame was something I cut months ago and was happy to be able to use it also).
I clipped this card to a stack of bon appetit magazines I was gifting to a friend . . .

I love how my version of Melissa Bickford’s fabulous card turned out!
I used a pre-printed card base with that great double-line border, stamped a centered sentiment and then framed it with the bright die-cut flowers (I was amazed how stamping just the centers on the pink flowers in black ink brought the flowers to life).
