black & white with red

Here's another little "mini" card to use at the office . . . nothing makes an impact quite like black & white with a splash of red.

stamps:  paper smooches, papertrey ink
papers:  stampin' up
dies:  papertrey ink
embossing folder:  sizzix
embellishments:  washi tape - smash; baker's twine - divine twine; clip from my office supplies

a New Year's Resolution

The two papercrafting tools I wouldn't want to stamp or scrap without are my big shot and my stamp-a-ma-jig!  The creative possibilities are truly endless - dies, inks, papers, textures - LOVE them all.  If you don't have either, save your pennies :)

JAI Badge 2011

One of my crafting resolutions for this year is to create at least two Christmas projects per month:

stamps:  papertrey ink
papers:  stampin' up
dies & embossing folder:  papertrey ink, my favorite things; stampin' up
embellishments:  seam binding - stampin' up; crocheted trim & button from my stash

Less is More

My goal this year is to streamline my cardmaking process - I'd like to be able to work more efficiently to produce MORE cards.  I'm just such a perfectionist, but I've been able to let go in other areas of my life, so stamping is NEXT!!!

This challenge reminded me of Frank Lloyd Wright & the Craftsman design style:

stamps:  papertrey ink, stampin' up
papers:  stampin' up
dies:  papertrey ink
embellishments:  button - papertrey ink

Eat Cake mini

Spent the weekend creating multiple "mini" cards to use around the office - there have already been more birthdays at work since the new year began than I was prepared for!

Just returned home from a wonderful (and white) holiday with ALL of our kids in Utah, so now I need to send a couple of thank yous.  Working with a corner scrap of ledger paper gave the arrows a completely different look depending on which way you turned it.  This is for my DIY guy - and son, scrapbook store chauffeur, Nick :)

stamps:  paper smooches
papers:  cosmo cricket; stampin' up
dies:  papertrey ink
embellishments:  button - papertrey ink
