building wreaths with small images

I wanted to create something soft and sweet, tho my "wreath" didn't turn out quite as tight as I would have liked . . .

more color, please . . .

I used this project to increase my use of color - I love color and pattern, but I find myself sticking to three main colors, forgetting to use other shades of the same colors, etc . . . a special card to welcome a beautiful new granddaughter  :)

little deer

Our second little granddaughter is due any day, so I thought I'd make a few extra baby cards . . . these little woodland animals from papertrey ink are just too cute, especially paired with a bit of patchwork quilt!

sweet Juliana

we were supposed to be in Utah this weekend for the birth of our 1st granddaughter, Juliana . . . apparently she's inheriting a smidgen of Italian stubbornness from her papa because she is now overdue and we're spending the weekend cleaning the garage!  at least this sweet little card will be waiting for her when she decides to make an appearance  :)

(although I do need to make a graduation card, I used the color combination as my inspiration instead of the actual tassels)

shower thank yous

Just a little sneak peak of the special projects I made for Natalie's baby shower - I went with a "little sprout"/gardening theme . . . we slipped the little seed packet into the polka-dot sacks.

gallon, quart, pint

SAF-2013-Logo
Co-workers have decorated their nursery in an ocean theme for their 1st baby - and they don't want to know if it's a boy or girl - they just want to be surprised!  I'm hoping for a GIRL  :)

it's a BOY!

I couldn't be happier for my daughter and her husband - our first little grandson is due in September!
I'm making a banner of "onesies" - I made a darling little girl banner last month for a co-worker's shower . . .
