rainbow of colors

I LOVE jigsaw puzzles, so this was a challenging little puzzle of congratulatory greetings!

sweet Juliana

we were supposed to be in Utah this weekend for the birth of our 1st granddaughter, Juliana . . . apparently she's inheriting a smidgen of Italian stubbornness from her papa because she is now overdue and we're spending the weekend cleaning the garage!  at least this sweet little card will be waiting for her when she decides to make an appearance  :)

(although I do need to make a graduation card, I used the color combination as my inspiration instead of the actual tassels)

stamps:  papertrey ink
papers:  stampin' up, papertrey ink
dies:  spellbinders, papertrey ink
embossing folder:  cuttlebug
embellishments:  baker's twine - stampin' up; button - my stash

celebrate with cake!

"stamping off" gave me the depth I wanted for the floral arrangement on the top of the tag - the black & white reversals made these fun colors pop . . .

a sketch turned on it's side

I had never considered using this color combo until these scraps ended up together . . . I love having a box of these little notes in my desk drawer at work . . . I just used this note to congratulate a co-worker on her recent promotion.
