Welcome to Hollywood!

So . . . if you came here expecting something glitzy & glamorous, sorry to disappoint . . . I was thinking more of the beautiful weather, the sign on the hills and oh, that TRAFFIC!!!  I created this little thank you note for a special sister-in-law who is an (excellent) elementary school secretary.

We had a wonderful visit with our kids in Utah for a week, finally got everything unpacked, all the laundry done, shopped at two local farmer's markets + the berry patch, worked all week, attended a wedding yesterday afternoon, and now I'm FINALLY ready/able to get back to some stamping!  (plus it's TOO hot to do anything else :)

. . . what was I thinking???  Actually, I found that the vellum is very forgiving :)  I love the way the tulips turned out - so soft and delicate, but I thought they needed some strong contrast to give them visual weight.
