These wild asparagus papers are so pretty that I couldn’t put them away. By adding some MAJOR sparkle I was able to create festive Christmas cards!

I love this patterned paper by american crafts, but I wanted to soften the feeling of this birthday card, so I used vellum for the butterfly - white embossing on vellum is ALWAYS a good idea. I added a bit of ink to the back side of the butterfly for dimension. The sequins are iridescent - so sparkly!

I LOVE how easy it is to create the deep saturated colors of pigment inks. I inked the images then lightly tapped them on a wet surface before stamping them for a watercolor effect . . .
I stamped a stack of images from PTI’s “stitching garden” set and created different layouts with a variety of sentiments - this was my favorite:
