I made very few Christmas cards this year, due to the Camp Fire and a bad fall several days after Thanksgiving, but this simple card was so pretty that I just had to share . . .

Not only has stamping been a creative outlet for me, it has also been a beautiful way to stay connected with the people I love.  I was blessed to reunite with a dear friend during the summer and I look forward to keeping in touch with her - a retired teacher (and her favorite color is red).

 I think I fell in love with purple when we were expecting our middle child - at the time my husband had to ask me not to buy anything else that was purple!  Well, that was 31 years ago . . . it must not have just been hormones, because I'm currently redecorating my studio in shades of purple . . . this simple layout allows the gorgeous peony to be the star of the show!
