I wanted a gauzy texture for this ghost and spider web, so I bunched up some cheesecloth on a piece of heat 'n bond (sandwiched between a paper bag so it wouldn't stick to my iron) and the texture turned out just right . . .

Schools started WAY too early around here this year - the middle of August! Noble Orchards has just opened for the fall season - we can get apples right up to the first day of spring. We were pleasantly surprised last Friday when they were still picking peaches, so we bought an entire lug!
