I've used the paperclay before, so I was interested in trying Melissa's technique with two layers of velllum . . . and yes, it oozed out all over the place when I ran it through my big kick, but it was very easy to clean up.  I really like the texture it creates - it seemed "winterish" to me . . .

Oh, what fun . . . it was soooo easy to make this scented embossing mix - I used my beloved "apple pie spice" and this little gingerbread man's heart smells heavenly without even scratching it!  Can't wait to repeat this technique with some pumpkin pie spice on my Thanksgiving projects  :)

Guess I'm in a "fallish" mood today . . . I masked the witch shape and just used black to spray a drop shadow effect on the "moon" for a fun tag.  I know a "good" witch (she was born on Halloween) who will be getting some Kara caramel fudge for her birthday with this tag tied around the box.  (I have to say "good" witch, because she's my boss - and she's THE BEST!!!)

I've always wanted to make one of Melissa Phillip's "fluffy" flowers, so this was the perfect opportunity!  I tea-stained muslin, die cut the flower and then stamped it.  It took a few minutes to get the right combination of layers . . . and voila!

I ordered two stamp sets from WPlus9 in Florida late last Friday night and was overjoyed to find them in my mailbox in California on Monday, just in time to participate in their current challenge . . . now that's what I call "customer service!"  I've been in love with quilts for as long as I can remember . . . so I had to have these prints, and who doesn't love flowers?
