A co-worker asked me if I would make a special card for her daughter - it had to be a shade of pink, and her daughter loved Paris/vintage - so this is what I created for her . . .

Scrap Minis

What do YOU do with all of those nice scraps you have left over from your projects?  This is what I like to do . . .





I keep a box of these little notes in my desk at work - they are random sizes (3x3ish/3x4ish, etc) depending on the size of scraps I have (I don't use envelopes).  They are the perfect little acknowledgement that I'm thinking about a co-worker on their birthday.

Shopping

Looks like I'm, quite possibly, the LAST person on the planet to know about the new paper crafting store in our area - they've been open since June!  I stumbled upon "Chico Scrapbooks" Saturday afternoon - it's behind Round Table Pizza in the Best Buy/Old Navy shopping center.  I picked up several Echo Park minis - can't wait to use them (just a heads up - they have unique business hours - noon to 7:00 pm - and they're closed on Sundays).

August Papertrey Blog Hop
