little deer

Our second little granddaughter is due any day, so I thought I'd make a few extra baby cards . . . these little woodland animals from papertrey ink are just too cute, especially paired with a bit of patchwork quilt!

no sew quilt

I'm SUCH a great big marshmallow for quilts!  This "warm and cozy" kind of project is perfect for a loving mother's day card . . .

aloha!

I was blessed to have spent a college semester in Hawaii many, many years ago - so this stamp said, "traditional Hawaiian quilt" to me the instant I saw it - lucky for Hawaiians that they don't really need cozy quilts, but they sure are beautiful to look at!

one of my (many) new year's resolutions (for crafting) is to use MORE vellum - so I'm keeping it within arm's reach . . .

a New Year's Resolution

The two papercrafting tools I wouldn't want to stamp or scrap without are my big shot and my stamp-a-ma-jig!  The creative possibilities are truly endless - dies, inks, papers, textures - LOVE them all.  If you don't have either, save your pennies :)

Log Cabin Christmas

Paper strips create a "log cabin quilt" frame for this pretty victorian - how I would LOVE to have a house like this - and decorate every inch of it for Christmas!!!  (Not sure about the snow, tho)
