partial die stamping

I thought this technique would work well for a masculine card . . . I stamped "happy" with green ink,  "birthday" with aqua and then partially heat embossed both with pewter . . .

I'm SUCH a great big marshmallow for quilts!  This "warm and cozy" kind of project is perfect for a loving mother's day card . . .
